Telkom / Telkomsel Flash is a High Speed Wireless Internet Service in Indonesia provided by Telkomsel (3.5 G) that you can use on your Laptop or PC (desktop), can be accessed from from modem datacard, mobile phone or router. They also offer the new USB modem for their customers.

Telkom Speedy is an Internet Service Provider in Indonesia. They provide ADSL Internet Connection with various packages. Usually this internet connection is easy to set-up because it’s using telephone line.

After May 2008, they increase their bandwidht speed to 1 Mbps (before 384 kbps), and we can feel the speed was increased significantly. Although at the some time the connection was slower than usual.

I-Tech developed the new generation of Keyboard, it’s an Infrared Virtual Keyboard. This keyboard uses Infrared rays to draw a virtual keyboard on a flat surface - and Bluetooth to carry the input back to devices. So, you can type even there’s no ‘real’ keyboard there, you will type on the infrared rays that draws a keyboard.

This gadget has size of a small cellular phone, (90 x 34 x 24 mm). It enables users to type texts or e-mails as easily as with an ordinary keyboard.

Almost a year i’m using Fastnet Internet connection from Firstmedia, i’m using the 768 kbps package. Now I will review the quality and service for this Internet Service Provider.

Fastnet is a Broadband Cable Internet Service Provider, so its coverage of course not as large as ADSL connection. Until now they only cover Jabotabek and Surabaya regions, hope they will expand their coverage soon.

  • Fastnet 384 : up to 384 kbps, price: Rp. 99.000 / month
  • Fastnet 512 : up to 512 kbps, price: Rp. 195.000 / month

  • Fastnet 1500 : up to 1500 kbps, price : Rp. 595.000 / month
  • Fastnet 3000 : up to 3000 kbps, price : Rp. 1.195.000 / month

You can choose the product that most suitable to you, depend on your needs and your budget.

Microsoft Windows Vista already comes to the computer’s market around 2 years ago. Many people using it as soon as it was launched, and many other still with their Windows XP (for windows user). Me myself still using Windows XP until now, because of some reasons; Many programs was not compatible with the new Windows Vista, and it still not on the stable version yet.

Windows Vista itself developed by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, Tablet PCs, and media center PCs. It’s known with its codename Longhorn in 2005, and launched in the year of 2006.

Windows Vista comes with many new features such as graphical user interface and visual style dubbed Windows Aero, improved searching features, new multimedia creation tools such as Windows DVD Maker, and redesigned networking, audio, print, and display sub-systems.
